DIT MWANZA STUDENTS SHOWCASE INNOVATION AND RESEARCH

Thirty-four students at DIT Mwanza Campus have demonstrated their innovation and research capabilities through Final Year Project Presentations. The projects focused on developing practical technologies, adding value to locally available raw materials, and providing innovative solutions for industrial production.

Among the innovations presented were the Mechanical Lever Linkage De-Lasting Machine, Portable Leather Hand Sewing Machine, Simple Manual Hike Punching Machine, Water Electrolysis-Based Oxy-Hydrogen Heat Source, and Motorized Edge Burnisher Machine. The projects reflect students’ ability to transform technical knowledge into practical solutions that can enhance productivity and support industrial development.
