INDUSTRIAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE COMMENDS DIT ON CENTRES OF EXCELLENCE ACHIEVEMENTS

The Industrial Advisory Committee has commended the Dar es Salaam Institute of Technology (DIT) for the remarkable progress achieved under the CELPAT and RAFIC Centres of Excellence projects during a meeting held at DIT Mwanza Campus on 26 June 2026.
Chairperson Col. (Rtd.) Joseph Simbakalia praised the successful implementation of the projects, while DIT showcased key achievements, including world-class leather processing facilities, ISO 21001:2018 certification, strategic partnerships, and plans to expand academic programmes and innovation in the leather industry.
